Your new role

As a Release and Environments Manager, you’ll lead and execute release and implementation activities across a complex and dynamic delivery environment. You’ll guide multiple squads through the release lifecycle, support deployment planning, and coordinate go-live operations—all while championing best practices and delivering strategic outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Define and execute a fit-for-purpose release and implementation approach, following their Release Framework.
• Provide release management expertise in regular planning sessions to ensure tribe delivery teams consider the risks and the release activities required to mitigate them.
• Lead and support the release and implementation of activities across multiple missions and squads for the assigned tribe.
• Support squads and platforms to execute deployments, run sheets and implementation plans.
• Be hands-on with the design, development, and execution of release management deliverables.
• Provide input into the planning of the release windows and cycles.
• Lead and co-ordinate the go-live / cutover activities, including readiness reviews.
• Provide communications to a wide variety of key stakeholders, to drive a clear narrative across all aspects of the release, linking the activity to strategic and customer outcomes.
• Be a respected thought leader within the release & implementation discipline
• Hands-on coaching and ongoing support to squad team members on release management best practices and the successful delivery of release activities and artefacts.
