As part of its commitment to modernising prudential architecture and transforming technology and data, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join its Digital Services team
Your new role
As a Senior Systems Engineer , you will play a critical role in the configuration, implementation, maintenance, and security of the digital systems and platforms. Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Manager, you will support both project delivery and business-as-usual operations, contributing to their strategic goals through innovative and secure technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and maintain digital systems and platforms.
Perform system patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
Design and deploy digital solutions aligned with best practices and organisational needs.
Support cloud migration and automation initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure system reliability and performance.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for digital platforms and services.
What you'll need to succeed
Existing Baseline or NV1 security clearance highly Essential.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Microsoft Azure.
Experience with patching, automation, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
Proficiency in supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases, including Oracle Financials.
Demonstrated experience in cloud migration and enterprise patching solutions.
Familiarity with ACSC Essential 8, ISM, and PSPF frameworks.
Experience with platforms such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Oracle Financials.
