Your new role
As a Senior Solution Architect, you’ll lead the design, coordination, and implementation of end-to-end technology solutions that align with strategic business outcomes. You’ll work closely with architecture governance forums to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure designs. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in complex ICT environments and enjoys collaborating across teams to deliver robust, future-ready solutions.
- Designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions
- Selecting technologies and platforms that meet project needs
- Defining system interfaces and data flows
- Creating architectural diagrams and documentation
- Coordinating implementation and resolving technical challenges
- Engaging in forums like the Design Authority and Architecture Review Board
- Producing high-level and detailed design documents
- Providing feedback on architectural standards and procurement assessments
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years in the ICT industry
- 2+ years producing solution architecture/system design documentation
- Experience with secure government systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- TOGAF or equivalent certification
- Experience in global ICT environments
- Familiarity with ISM and Essential 8 controls
- Cloud computing and integration expertise
- Knowledge of hybrid environments (on-prem, private cloud, SaaS)
- Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum NV1 security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
- Location: Canberra, ACT-based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
