Your new role

• Design Management: Oversee the design delivery and change management for the B-Shed upgrade
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal experts and manage third-party design consultants to meet project requirements.
• Asset Transition: Support the design and transition of new and existing assets, adhering to the approved business case.
• Technical Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant legislation, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Project Coordination: Supervise project delivery resources, manage technical interfaces, and ensure timely completion of design milestones.
• Compliance Management: Oversee the completion of all necessary approvals, including planning, heritage, and building compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in building or public transport works design management.
• Professional Background: Proven experience in project engineering and management, with a focus on engineering services delivery.
• Certification: Chartered Engineer or eligibility for registration, with a commitment to achieving WA registration by the mandatory dates.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory requirements, engineering standards, and industry best practices.
