Your new role
Operate CNC and manual machines to produce and reclaim precision components
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications
Set up, calibrate, and adjust machining equipment for production tasks
Perform quality assurance checks using precision measuring instruments
Assist in the overhaul and repair of hydraulic cylinders and mechanical parts
Work with robotic welding systems and fabrication tools as required
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with WHS standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold company values of integrity, quality, excellence, and ownership
What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist or similar
Forklift and Dogging tickets (desirable but not essential)
Current driver’s licence
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Proven experience operating CNC and manual machines in a workshop environment
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, verniers, dial indicators)
Experience with hydraulic cylinder repair and component reclamation is highly regarded
