Looking for a highly skilled BI Developer with strong SQL capabilities and a passion for diving deep into data structures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys dissecting legacy systems, documenting processes, and designing efficient reporting solutions using Power BI and SQL Server data warehouses.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports sourced from a SQL Server data warehouse.
• Analyse and refine existing SQL scripts and legacy research logic.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement SQL-based solutions.
• Document SQL logic, Universe design, and reporting structures for future reference.
• Recommend improvements to SQL database design and flag creation in new environments.
• Support users by reducing reliance on drag-and-drop tools and promoting SQL-driven reporting.
• Assist in transitioning legacy logic into structured, documented SQL environments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Candidates should have full working rights in Australia (No sponsorship available).- Please do not apply if you do not have full working rights.
• Candidates should be in Adelaide - Candidates outside of Adelaide will not be considered.
• 4+ years of strong SQL development skills - essential
• 4+ years of proven experience with Power BI and SQL Server data warehouses.
• Experience in universe design and understanding of Business Objects or similar tools.
• Excellent documentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and explore complex data logic
