Your new role

We’re seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join the team at the Malaga site in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse group of users and support a wide range of IT platforms—from employee laptops to factory automation systems.

Contract length : 2–3 months
Location: Malaga

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 IT support through various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and MS Teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating when necessary.
• Manage user accounts, IT assets, and software installations.
• Set up hardware and install software while offering guidance to users.
• Collaborate with regional IT teams and service managers.
• Participate in project work and disaster recovery actions.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Computing or a related field.
• ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
• Proven experience in Level 2 IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Office365, Windows OS, and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Intune, and Equitrac.
• Willingness to support during public holidays and weekends if required.
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
