A global technology leader is seeking Senior Backend Developers to support deliver a next-generation autonomy solution for a major mining client. You'll be part of a strategic project team focused on innovation and large-scale impact.

Your new role

In this role, you’ll design and develop scalable backend services that support autonomous vehicle control, advanced dispatching, and machine guidance.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, APIs, and system behaviours
• Leading the technical delivery of user stories from solution design to deployment
• Ensuring code quality and maintainability through automated testing
• Enhancing system observability, reliability, and performance
• Providing technical mentoring and guidance to junior developers

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development

• Industry experience in mining, logistics, autonomous driving, dispatch systems

• Proficiency in C# .NET Core, Entity Framework, and RabbitMQ

• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases

• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and working in distributed systems

• Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD practices
