Your new role:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for account management and business development. Your key tasks will include:
- Managing and nurturing relationships with a customer base of independent optometrists.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
- Conducting regular visits to clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
- Providing product training and support to clients.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
This role requires travel once a quarter to rural New South Wales. You will spend four days on the road and one day on administrative work.
What you'll need to succeed:
To excel in this role, you must have experience in the optics industry, with a background as an optical dispenser or optometrist looking to transition into sales. Strong knowledge of optical products and excellent communication skills are essential.
