Your new role

As a key player on our mine site operations team, the Mining Trades Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functionality of equipment and infrastructure to keep productivity moving. With a hands-on approach and a strong focus on safety, you'll perform a wide range of tasks—from mechanical servicing to rigging and crane operations. This role is expected to last for a minimum of 6 months. You will be working a roster consisting of an average of 36 hours per week.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
• Be available immediately
• Rigging Ticket (Basic to Intermediate as applicable)
• Dogging Ticket
• Crane Licence
• HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence
• Forklift Licence (LF)

What you'll get in return

• Day shift only (10 hours) + weekends

• $69.23 per hour + Super
