Your new role

• Lead statutory show cause processes and determine disciplinary outcomes
• Analyse complex evidence, written submissions, and oral representations
• Apply administrative law principles, legislative interpretation, and procedural fairness
• Draft defensible, well-reasoned disciplinary decisions
• Contribute to policy refinement and frameworks for regulatory decision-making
• Provide subject matter advice on practitioner discipline and risk mitigation

What you'll need to succeed

• You are an Australian-qualified lawyer with a current practising certificate
• You bring experience in administrative law, professional discipline, or regulatory enforcement
• You are comfortable exercising delegated statutory authority and standing behind your decisions
• You possess excellent written communication skills and the ability to explain complex decisions clearly
• You are collaborative, resilient, and operate with the highest level of integrity
