About the Role
As an HCM Integration Specialist, you will be at the heart of the program’s technical delivery, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and quality assurance of over 40 integrations. You will work closely with internal IT teams, external vendors, and system owners to ensure integrations are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, has deep technical expertise in SAP integrations, and can navigate stakeholder priorities with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Documentation: Lead the discovery, design, and documentation of integration interfaces and API mappings across SaaS/COTS platforms.
Quality Assurance: Review vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with best practices, cybersecurity standards, and departmental policies.
Integration Strategy: Shape integration roadmaps, rationalise interfaces, and guide architecture decisions involving SAP Integration Suite, legacy systems, and cloud platforms.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, system owners, and vendor partners to ensure readiness and alignment with project timelines.
Project Oversight: Manage schedules, resources, and risks across multiple concurrent integration builds.
Testing & Support: Partner with testing teams to validate integrations, monitor error handling, and resolve defects.
Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, promote SAP best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in IT systems integration, with a strong understanding of SDLC.
- 3+ years in SAP Integration Suite or SAP PI/PO.
- 2+ years working with SAP HCM and SuccessFactors.
- Expertise in event-driven architectures and middleware best practices.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience with APIs (SOAP, REST), JSON, XML, and other integration protocols.
- Proven ability in real-time and batch integrations with a focus on scalability.
- Strong background in data mapping, information management, and data flows.
- Familiarity with Azure Synapse and data warehouse integration.
