APS 4 and APS 5 Grant Management and Compliance officers

A Federal Government department is seeking experienced professionals to support a new project.

Your new role

You will join a dynamic team responsible for managing and monitoring grants issued under the Worker Retention Payment initiative. Multiple roles are available at APS5 and APS4 equivalent levels, focusing on grant assessment, compliance monitoring, and data analysis.

APS5 Equivalent – Grant Management & Compliance Officers
  • Conduct complex investigations and assessments using Excel or similar tools.
  • Analyse data to identify non-compliance and prepare high-quality reports and briefs.
  • Monitor compliance with grant conditions and engage with providers via email and phone.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.

APS4 Equivalent – Grant Management & Compliance Officers
  • Support investigations and assessments, including data input, retrieval, and interpretation.
  • Assist in drafting investigation reports and evidence-based briefs.
  • Communicate with providers to gather information and support compliance activities.
  • Contribute to team priorities and escalate issues as needed.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel or similar tools.
  • Experience in grant management, compliance monitoring, or investigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
  • For APS5 roles: demonstrated experience producing high-quality reports and managing complex assessments.
  • For APS4 roles, experience supporting compliance activities and interpreting data is highly desirable.
