We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow System Engineer with strong expertise in the HRSD module, ServiceNow Protected Platform (SPP), and Service Management modules. This is a dynamic role focused on platform migration, system administration, and continuous service improvement.

Your new role

• Lead migration to ServiceNow Protected Platform (SPP)
• Administer, design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules
• Manage platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
• Implement workflows, integrations, and automation
• Ensure compliance with Essential 8 Maturity Level 2 security standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support operational environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs
• Promote platform adoption and contribute to team culture and knowledge sharing

• 3–5 years of ServiceNow development/engineering experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, and ATF
• Strong experience with HRSD module configuration and customisation
• Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs
• Knowledge of CMDB, ITIL processes, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with ISM security compliance and role-based access control
• ServiceNow certifications (System Administrator, Application Developer, HRSD preferred)

• Communication & Collaboration – stakeholder engagement and teamwork
• Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum Baseline security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
• Location: Canberra, ACT-based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
