Your new company

Our client, based in East Perth, is seeking a temporary maintenance planner to join their team. This is a temporary arrangement through Hays for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

• Conduct asset condition assessments, health modelling, and lifecycle analysis
• Develop and maintain asset hierarchies and visualisations using tools like Power BI and Business Objects
• Generate and monitor performance metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement
• Apply data science and analytical techniques to identify trends and recommend solutions
• Create and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies
• Develop and optimise schedules using MS Project
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to a culture of safety excellence

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in infrastructure maintenance planning
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Demonstrated experience with project scheduling tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Deep understanding of safety implications in operations
