Your new role

As a Senior Release Manager (APS6 equivalent), you’ll lead the planning and coordination of release management processes across enterprise platforms including Salesforce, MuleSoft, EDW, SAP, and APIC. Reporting to a more senior manager, you’ll manage release schedules, facilitate readiness and milestone reviews, and oversee deployment documentation and stakeholder engagement. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with ICT change protocols. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with a minimum of three days in-office per week.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in enterprise release management
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Proven ability to manage release interdependencies, governance processes, and milestone tracking
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications (e.g., SAFe Agile, Diploma of Project Management)
• Ability to work under pressure and drive continuous improvement
• (Desirable) Experience in government environments and understanding of accessibility and secure design principles
