Your new role
Conduct pre-operational checks on lifting equipment, cranes, and Franna vehicles.
Inspect and prepare rigging gear such as slings, shackles, and chains.
Safely attach and secure loads for lifting and transport.
Operate cranes and Frannas to lift, move, and position loads as per site requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members using hand signals or radios during lifts.
Interpret lift plans and follow site-specific safety protocols.
Monitor surroundings for hazards and adjust operations to maintain safety.
Guide and stabilise loads during lifting operations.
Maintain accurate logs of operations and report equipment issues or defects.
Ensure all lifting operations comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
Support complex lift planning and execution as part of a coordinated team.
What you'll need to succeed
Coal Board Medical & Standard 11
Various Site Inductions
High Risk Work Licence (e.g. DG, RB, RI, RA, CN, C2-C6, CO)
Working at Heights Certificate
QLD Drivers Licence – Truck Licence desirable
Construction White Card
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & police check
Be able to DIDO to the Bowen Basin
What you'll get in return
In return, you will work on various shutdowns throughout the Bowen Basin with various rosters on offer. This position is DIDO only, and you will receive an attractive hourly rate + super, a weekly pay and camp meals and accommodation provided while you’re on site. This work is commencing ASAP & there is long-term work going for the right person.
