Truck Driver - Waste Side Arm

Local Government Truck Drivers are needed for the Waste Department. Must also be physically fit.
Side Arm & Rear Loader Driver – Local Council
Location: Inner-West to Western Sydney Region
Rate: $47.33 /hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:45 AM – 1:15 PM
Are you an experienced waste truck operator with a passion for keeping our community clean and green? We’re looking for reliable workers with a can-do attitude to be a Side Arm & Rear Loader Driver.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate side arm and rear loader waste collection vehicles
  • Collect and empty residential rubbish bins
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the truck
  • Follow designated routes and schedules
  • Ensure safe and efficient waste collection in line with council standards
Requirements:
  • HR Licence or higher (essential)
  • Proven experience operating waste collection trucks
  • Side arm truck experience (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic regulations
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player
