Your new role

As the Principle Platform Engineer, you will drive the engineering and execution of scalable platform solutions, focusing on containerisation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD modernisation. A key part of your role will be leading the migration of over 100 + CI pipelines from Azure to AWS, while championing best practices in DevOps, cloud governance, and team mentorship. You’ll work closely with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and GitHub Actions to deliver a robust, agile platform environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Expert-level experience with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (EKS)
• Proven track record in cloud platform engineering, especially within AWS ecosystems
• Demonstrated experience migrating CI pipelines from Azure DevOps to AWS, leveraging GitHub Actions
• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Strong scripting abilities (e.g. Bash, Python) and a deep understanding of platform security and observability
• Collaborative leadership style with experience of mentoring engineers and influencing cross-functional teams
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical depth and business impact
