Your new company
Seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to start as soon as possible in a State Government department. You will be engaged on an initial temporary contract, with the possibility of extension should you be a good fit for the team. You will be required to work full-time hours Monday to Friday, at a competitive hourly rate.
Your new role
Performs plumbing and gas maintenance, including fault-finding, repairs, installations, and preventive works in line with standards and regulations.
Maintains tools, equipment, and safety compliance, following manufacturer guidelines and health and safety protocols.
Using digital systems to document maintenance activities like hydraulic flushing and inspections.
Supports coordination with contractors, mentors apprentices, and contributes to joint projects and technical advice.
What you'll need to succeed
Holds required licences, including WA Plumbing Trade Certificate.
Hold a current “C” or “C. A” class driving licence.
Knowledge of hydraulic safety standards and relevant installations and equipment.
Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders across the site.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team within a facilities' management environment.
