Your new role
Reporting to the General Manager, Inventory Optimisation, you will lead the Inventory management team in managing a diverse supply chain, refining ERP systems to ensure accurate MRP. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving intricate problems, driving continuous improvement, and influencing strategic outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a team to deliver on inventory optimisation goals
Overseeing MRP and Prognosis tools to ensure precision in inventory control
Managing item data integrity, including supersessions and consumption rules
Driving analysis and reporting on inventory KPIs, forecasts, and surplus stock
Coordinating national inventory redistribution and resolving supply discrepancies
Delivering impactful reports and hands-on training
Championing compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
This role is suited to a professional who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and is passionate about making a measurable impact. You will bring:
A degree in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proven experience in inventory management within a complex ERP environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience within mining, heavy industries or working with a diverse supply chain
Stakeholder management within a change environment
- A proactive mindset and a drive for continuous improvement. Future leaders without current people management will also be considered.
