Your new role
As a Procurement and Policy Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing end-to-end procurement processes and contract administration to support the delivery of digital mental health tools and navigation systems. This APS6-level role is well suited to someone who brings sound judgement, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills in a complex policy setting.

You will be responsible for:
  • Drafting procurement and contract documentation in accordance with CPRs
  • Monitoring contract milestones and managing contract variations
  • Supporting policy design and strategic implementation of digital initiatives
  • Preparing high-quality briefs and correspondence for senior executives and ministers
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and sector partners to drive outcomes
  • Providing input into grant guidelines and compliance documentation
  • Contributing to program governance and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and public sector procurement frameworks
  • Proven contract management experience within APS or related sectors
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to translate complex policy into clear documentation
  • Stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across levels
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience in a dynamic program environment
  • A Baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one is essential.
