Test Analyst

Well-established state government organisation is looking for an experienced Test Analyst with expertise in SAP Successfactors.


Your new role

This role is for an expert hands-on, individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong background in enterprise HRIS testing.
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruitment, Performance & Goals, Learning).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites to support regression and smoke testing.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure test coverage across integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, identity management).
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training or documentation as needed.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to QA best practices.


What you'll need to succeed

Experience in test automation, preferably in SAP SuccessFactors environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules and workflows.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, UFT, or Worksoft Certify.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, TestRail).
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
  • Familiarity with SAP CPI or other middleware platforms.
  • Relevant certifications in SAP SuccessFactors or test automation tools are a plus.
  • Previous experience in government or large enterprise environments is highly desirable.
