Working for a local council in Sydney, you will be joining a high-performing team as a community engagement officer.

Your new role

**This is a mid-level role, paying $55.00 per hour plus super. Please ensure this works for you before applying**

• Planning, delivering and reporting on community engagement projects (online and in person)
• Creating and delivering stakeholder communications.
• Using social media and online tools for consultation and communication
• Resolving conflicts in professional settings
• Developing and implementing consultation initiatives

• Previous community engagement work in local or government settings
• Engaging/working with and understanding small/medium businesses (including event delivery)
• Knowledge of IAP2 engagement practices

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and departments
• Project management and implementation
• Strong administration, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with good attention to detail
• Proven ability at researching, analysing, and reporting on engagement projects.
• Understanding of contemporary engagement methods and delivery.
• Computer literacy
