Your new role

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead multiple cross-functional engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade platforms and services. You’ll play a key role in shaping the bank’s technology strategy, with direct exposure to AI and machine learning initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience, fraud detection, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams across backend, frontend, and platform domains.
  • Drive the delivery of complex, scalable systems in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and data science teams to integrate AI capabilities into core banking platforms.
  • Champion engineering excellence, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business and technology units.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role, ideally within financial services or other large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Strong technical background in software engineering, cloud platforms (AWS), and modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, etc.).
  • Exposure to AI/ML projects or collaboration with data science teams.
  • Excellent people leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and security considerations in banking is a plus.
