Your new role


As the Specification Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing product specifications through architects, designers, and builders. You’ll promote their range of commercial flooring products, educate stakeholders on technical and aesthetic features, and ensure their brand is front-of-mind in commercial fit-out and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers, and builders

  • Promote and present flooring products for inclusion in commercial project specifications

  • Identify and track upcoming projects through various design and construction channels

  • Provide technical advice, product samples, and tailored solutions to meet client needs

  • Collaborate with the sales team to convert specifications into orders

  • Represent the company at industry events, product launches, and design expos


**Please note this role will initially be offered as 6 month contract**


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a specification or B2B sales role within the building materials industry – flooring, finishes, or fit-out experience preferred

  • Established network within the A&D (architecture and design) community is highly regarded

  • Strong understanding of the construction/specification process

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated, organised, and commercially savvy

  • Proficiency in CRM and project tracking tools (e.g. Cordell, BCI) is a plus

  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally

  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
