Safety Manager

Hays is currently partnered with a world-leading production company to recruit a Regional Safety Manager in a permanent capacity.

This position is crucial for meeting and exceeding Integrated Management Systems standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing them effectively.

This position is crucial for meeting and exceeding Integrated Management Systems standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing them effectively.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operational Leadership:
Lead and coordinate the ISO 45001 program, OHS & CARE initiatives, and compliance requirements. - Audit Participation:
Actively participate in QHSE ISOs and customer audits to ensure company compliance. - Safety Projects:
Organise and lead safety projects and committee meetings to review indicators and proficiency. - Reporting:
Provide monthly safety systems reports. - Representation:
Represent the company at industry functions, committees, and other bodies as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading safety programs and audits.
- Strong understanding of ISO 45001, OHS, and CARE initiatives.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
