Your new company

Hays Technology is partnering with a major Federal Government agency to recruit an experienced ERP Application System Administrator. This is a long-term contract opportunity within a high-performing ERP technical team, offering hybrid work arrangements from either Canberra or Sydney.
As an ERP System Administrator, you will play a key role in the ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise systems. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to ensure optimal system performance, compliance, and user support.


Your new role

  • Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to proactively resolve issues
  • Conduct routine maintenance including backups, updates, and patches
  • Provide timely resolution of system errors and user support requests
  • Deliver technical assistance and training to end-users
  • Configure system settings, workflows, and reports meeting business needs
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with vendors for technical support and system updates

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive learning mindset
• Experience administering applications on Windows Server OS
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, particularly RHEL
• Experience managing websites in virtual environments (IIS, DNS, networking)
• Exposure to cloud platforms, especially AWS, is highly desirable
• Must be an Australian Citizen with an active TSPV Security Clearance
