A growing MSP, ISP & Voice Service Provider based in Melbourne’s South-East requires a Network & Voice Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP. Your new role

• Managing and maintaining a wide range of network, voice and security technologies to ensure their optimal operation.
• Implementing customer-requested changes and working as a part of the project team when implementing major changes to a customer’s services.
• Performing physical and logical network deployments and migrations.
• Acting as the escalation point for network-related outages.
• Providing training and guidance to front-line technical support staff.
• Provisioning of telco services, including wholesale VoIP and internet services.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience working as a Cisco Network Engineer, having sound knowledge of Voice / SIP.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco routing & switching (BGP & MPLS), FortiGate / Palo Alto / Sophos firewalls, Cisco / Aruba Wi-Fi and SD-WAN.
• Experience with Azure, Hyper-V / VMware, DNS, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, 3CX, Juniper switches / routers and ConnectWise RMM / PSA is highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Cisco, Fortinet, Azure and Microsoft certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working for an MSP or Consultancy.
• A valid driver’s licence.
