Our client, a well-established wood mill in the Huonville area, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented cleaners for their Southwood mill. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that processes wood into various products, contributing to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Your new role
You will be responsible for cleaning amenity facilities, toilets, and offices for the first part of your shift until the sawmill finishes. Afterward, you will clean the wood waste left by machine operators and place it into waste bins for collection the next day. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Own transport is essential
- Flexibility with work hours (shifts can be 6 or 8 hours, starting from 2:30 PM or 4 PM and finishing at 10:30 PM or 11 PM)
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, with the possibility of weekend shifts
