• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Nifi, MapReduce, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Configure and optimise SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) tailored to system requirements (e.g., rollback segments, tablespaces)
• Implement and maintain DevOps/DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Private Cloud)
• Work with backend technologies and frameworks (PHP, ASP, C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, REST, MongoDB, PaaS)
• Support data restoration, connection tools and ensure secure, efficient data access
• Document technical specifications and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Deep understanding of Big Data ecosystems and Cloud platforms
• Mastery of SQL databases, tools, and languages
• Proficiency in C and Python
• Solid grasp of DevOps, DevSecOps, and Digital Platform Stacks
• Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, probability, and modelling
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to interface with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Australian Citizenship with the ability to gain security clearance
