We are seeking a seasoned Senior OT Design Manager - SCADA & control systems to lead the design, development, and management of our control systems infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
As a senior leader in our Operational Technology (OT) team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our automated systems. You’ll provide strategic and technical guidance across all phases of control systems design, with a strong focus on standard compliance, advanced process control, and system architecture. This is also a unique opportunity to mentor and develop the next generation of engineers in a critical infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of SCADA and control systems for water utility operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISA standards).
• Develop and maintain control system and SCADA standards, templates, and documentation.
• Oversee advanced process control strategies including cascade and constraint control.
• Guide the design and commissioning of plant sequence controls and chemical dosing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system architecture and integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.
Key Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 15–20+ years of experience in SCADA instrumentation and control systems design.
• Proven project management experience in SCADA/control systems environments.
• Deep understanding of ISA standards and their practical application.
• Demonstrated experience in developing water utility design standards and software templates.
• Expertise in process control, regulatory control, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA/control system architecture and chemical dosing control.
