Your new role
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless processing of payroll functions, managing salary packaging agreements, and overseeing uniform expense management. Your key duties will include:
Processing fortnightly and ad-hoc pay runs with accuracy.
Interpreting awards, EBAs, and industrial instruments to ensure correct pay entitlements.
Handling redundancies and termination payments within agreed timeframes.
Maintaining payroll records, ensuring codes are accurate and avoiding duplicate entries.
Liaising with payroll and rostering software providers to resolve system-related issues.
Providing friendly and confidential support to employees on payroll queries.
Assisting in the administration of salary packaging agreements.
Managing uniform allocations and supplier invoicing.
Contributing to compliance by preparing reports and keeping policies up to date.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll operations.
