Your new role
Hays are looking for an underground Rock Tools Technician. A rock tools technician works between the workshop and the underground mine.

Key responsibilities:
  • Remove all worn and damaged rock tools from the drill sites
  • Safely transport drilling consumables such as drill bits and drill steels to various drill rigs underground.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient rock drilling operations, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous underground experience - ideally nippering or drill offsiding
  • Ability to drive LV's safely underground
  • Valid C class licence
  • Ability to pass a full pre-empoyment medical and drug and alcohol screen
  • Valid police clearance

What you'll get in return
  • Hourly rate from $40/hr
