Your new role
Reporting to the Finance and Commercial Manager, some of the role’s general tasks include:
- Assist in the month-end process, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting/financial commentary
- Regular review of internal costs within the various departments to ensure the business achieves its strategic objectives
- Develop and improve current reporting processes to meet the needs of the business
- Provide monthly and year-end financial, management and ad-hoc reports
- Assist the team in preparing audited financial statements
- Fixed asset management
- Assistance in preparation and lodgement of BAS
- Assist in monthly billing and member account queries
What you'll need to succeed
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role or in public accounting
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance and Business
- Professional qualification such as CA/CPA highly regarded but not essential
- Advanced computer software skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with a high attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
