Your new company
This growing not-for-profit organisation is seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis. The position will be based in their Eight Mile Plains offices, which does offer on-site parking and there are some public transport options located close by.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll
- Handle payroll enquiries from employees
- Payroll tax and superannuation payments
- Payroll reconciliations and reporting
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- End-to-end payroll experience working in a medium pay environment
- Experience working with multiple payroll systems
- Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
- Excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with various key stakeholders in the organisation
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
