Senior Payroll Officer

Senior Payroll Officer to support a busy team in this not-for-profit organisation in Brisbane's south side.

Your new company

This growing not-for-profit organisation is seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis. The position will be based in their Eight Mile Plains offices, which does offer on-site parking and there are some public transport options located close by.

Your new role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Setting up new employees on the payroll system
  • Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll
  • Handle payroll enquiries from employees
  • Payroll tax and superannuation payments
  • Payroll reconciliations and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • End-to-end payroll experience working in a medium pay environment
  • Experience working with multiple payroll systems
  • Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with various key stakeholders in the organisation
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
