Your new role

Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing Communications, the Digital Communications Manager will lead the development and execution of digital strategies to enhance the organisation’s online presence. This includes managing the website, overseeing digital initiatives such as newsletters and blogs, and driving engagement across social media platforms. The role spans content marketing, SEO, analytics, and social media management. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Digital Strategy & Website Management: Lead SaCSA’s digital landscape strategy, including website development, content creation, CMS automation, and ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG v2.0).
  • Content & Email Marketing: Develop and execute content marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals; manage email campaigns with effective segmentation and regular stakeholder updates.
  • Social Media Management: Oversee social media platforms, create content calendars, and implement strategies to boost engagement and brand visibility.
  • SEO & Analytics: Drive SEO efforts to increase organic traffic; monitor and optimise performance using tools like Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Audience Engagement & Insights: Understand target audiences and industry trends to tailor content and digital outreach; translate data insights into actionable improvements.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related discipline.

  • Proven track record in digital marketing, communications, or a closely related field, with a strong focus on innovation and campaign success as well as experience managing a small team.

  • Proficient in CMS, SEO best practices, Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and digital marketing tools, with strong analytical skills to extract insights from diverse data sources.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and platforms like HubSpot and Monday.com, with a commitment to continuous learning and alignment with organisational values.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated the ability to prioritise in fast-paced environments, think creatively, and contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.
