Your new role

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial automation sector to drive market expansion.

  • Engage with clients to assess their technical needs and provide tailored solutions using our clients' advanced sensor and automation technologies.

  • Deliver compelling product presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and technical consultations to both prospective and existing customers.

  • Negotiate and finalise contracts, securing agreements that contribute to revenue growth and sales objectives.

  • Offer expert technical support and guidance, ensuring seamless product integration and optimal performance for customers.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers, fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, providing customers with forward-thinking solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and product management, to enhance overall customer satisfaction and experience.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Several years' experience in B2B sales, ideally with a background in electromechanics or electrical engineering

  • Ability to travel for client meetings and site visits

  • A results-driven and customer-focused mindset with a passion for technology and innovation

  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen to provide expert advice.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
