Your new role
As a Communications Officer (Graphic Designer), you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content across print, digital, and online platforms. You’ll support the delivery of communication materials that align with the organisation’s brand and effectively engage stakeholders. Working closely with senior designers, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects, including newsletters, infographics, project maps, and video/animation content. Your ability to manage competing priorities and deliver creative solutions will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3–5 years of industry experience in graphic design.
- A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design, video, and animation tools.
- Experience producing materials for large corporate or government organisations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Understanding of government processes and policies.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessible document design.
