Your new role

As an HR Officer, you’ll be the go-to person for all things people-related. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and training, you’ll play a key role in supporting staff and ensuring HR practices align with business goals and legal standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and HR support.
  • Coordinate and deliver staff training programs.
  • Oversee recruitment processes in collaboration with leadership and operations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage internal HR communications.
  • Support workplace relations, including conflict resolution and compliance with employment laws.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental management systems.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to be based already in Australia, have full-time and unlimited working rights in Australia, and be happy to work full-time in business offices (no WFH flex is provided as this is an operations-focused role). You will all bring:

  • A qualification in HR or in a similar field.
  • Proven experience in a Human Resources role (one year's experience should be sufficient).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and database management tools.
  • Understanding of workplace legislation and best practices.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work in a very fast-paced environment is a must.
