This Victorian government agency is the official insurer for third-party personal liability in road accidents. They are looking to hire a Technical Architect for a long-term contract assignment.


Your new role

As a skilled Technical Architect, you’ll lead technical coordination for infrastructure and environmental projects, acting as the main contact for project managers, technical teams, and vendors. You’ll ensure the delivery of secure, scalable solutions across on-prem and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical coordination and serve as the primary contact for project teams.
  • Oversee infrastructure and environmental design and documentation.
  • Manage technical risks and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Support cloud integration, infrastructure design, and operational readiness.
  • Track and resolve environment-related issues and provide regular updates to stakeholders.


What you'll need to succeed

To achieve success in this role, you’ll need to possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. You’ll also need to be:
  • Proficient in AWS and cloud technologies.
  • Strong background in solution and integration architecture.
  • Skilled in leading technical teams and providing expert guidance.
  • Experienced in system architecture and component specification tools.
  • Proven ability to design and implement integration solutions.
  • Hands-on with Cisco LAN, campus, and WAN services.
  • Experience with Crestron, Microsoft Teams, and collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of Avaya systems and voice recording technologies.
