The Opportunity

I am working with a specialist plaintiff law firm on a Class Action Solicitor role based in their Sydney office. They are a leading national firm in the claimant space with particular expertise in consumer claims, medical negligence, and personal injury. They are looking to make 2x hires into their Class Action team at either Associate (2-5PQE) or Senior Associate (5+PQE) level.

Your new role

You will report directly to the Managing Partner of the firm and will work alongside 6 lawyers. You will be involved in a range of class actions including supermarkets, medical devices, vehicle emissions, and flooding (+ many more). You will work on the class actions from inception to completion and will help manage the full process. You will also get involved in the development of ongoing and new class actions through research, social media review and data-gathering and analysis. As well as this, you will: ensure electronic files are up-to-date; under supervision, monitor the payment of disbursements and manage databases of disbursements paid and outstanding; and arrange and facilitate video conferences.
