Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper, and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from its production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.
Your new role
As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Safe and efficient execution of minor warehouse maintenance and binning maintenance
- Ensure all MHE (forklifts, reach trucks) are operated professionally and safely
- Efficient investigation and a professional manner to assist with resolution of customer queries
- Flexibility and the ability to work autonomously, or to lead by example as required by the operation
- Accepting deliveries, unpack, sort and store
- Using RF scanners to receive goods
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the position, you will have:
- Experience in a warehousing environment:
- High level of accuracy with attention to detail
- Strong focus on customer service and meeting delivery requirements
- Current drivers’ licence
- Current Forklift licence
What you'll get in return
This role comes with an attractive 7/7 FIFO roster (alternating 12-hour days and nights) with flights and accommodation included and an excellent starting rate.
