Your new company
This organisation has recently expanded their operations and is continuing to grow in their provision of products for the national and international market. With a well-established operation in Brisbane's northern suburbs, you will be joining a stable and experienced finance team.
Your new role
Working closely with the Financial Controller and Payroll officer, you will oversee the day-to-day accounts duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, costings, updating spreadsheets, reporting and supporting the payroll officer. There are plans to implement new systems and processes to support the volume this business is managing, but currently the accounts are managed using MYOB.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in a high-volume and fast-paced environment will set you up well for this role. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to the needs of the business will ensure you grow in this role as the business expands. Experience working in an accounts payable position and a strong working knowledge of payroll processes is essential. Versatility in accounting systems and the willingness to work in new ways will be highly desirable.
