Your new role

As a Credit Officer, you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, resolving account issues, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Make daily collection calls and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Reconcile outstanding debts and coordinate recovery processes
  • Investigate the creditworthiness of new customers
  • Maintain customer records and process credit card transactions
  • Collaborate with interstate credit teams to resolve account queries
  • Refer debts to third-party agencies when necessary
  • Prepare reports and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1–2 years’ experience in an accounts receivable or credit role
  • Qualification in Accounting or Credit Management (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills
  • A customer-first mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
