ACT construction firm seeks a skilled Finishing Foreman for a $75M+ project - Call Will 02 6112 7655

Your new company

An established national construction company that prides itself on providing an inclusive and supportive team culture requires an experienced Foreman to work on a range of commercial fitout / refurbishment projects ranging from $1/50M.

Your new role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee finishing trades, ensuring high-quality standards are met within project timelines. Your key duties include:

  • Supervising all construction packages including detailed carpentry, electrical, plumbing and final pass trades.
  • Managing subcontractors and conducting toolbox talks.
  • Performing site inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of short-term work schedules.
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients and suppliers, to meet finishing specifications.
  • Ensuring safety compliance in accordance with WHS standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally, a trade background but not essential.
  • Ability to problem-solve and interpret detailed drawings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and lead tradespeople effectively.
