Your new role
In this role, you will work amongst a team of experienced company secretaries and will assist in providing high-quality advice and support to the companies' peak governance bodies.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the named Company Secretary for various proprietary limited companies.
Ensure compliance with the Corporations Act and regulatory requirements, including the submission of necessary documents to ASIC.
Maintain corporate registers and records, prepare and lodge ASIC forms, manage annual reviews, and handle changes to company details.
Coordinate and schedule board meetings, prepare agendas, board papers, and distribute meeting materials.
Attend board meetings and produce accurate minutes and actions.
Assist with internal transactions, including the approval and execution of documents by relevant Group entity boards.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, between 4–7 years' experience in a similar role.
Relevant qualifications in Business, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related discipline, and experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASIC requirements.
Thrives in a collaborative team environment and actively contributes to shared initiatives
Excels at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective stakeholder interactions
Has a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and responsibilities
Upholds confidentiality and integrity when handling company information
