Pentaho Developer

Are you a Pentaho Development specialist looking for a 12-month contract?
Our client is seeking a Pentaho Developer to join a collaborative team where you will be contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our business Pentaho solutions. You will have extensive experience in Pentaho data integration, reporting, and analytics tools, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.


You will be responsible for the design, developing, and implementing Pentaho-based solutions to meet business requirements. Developing ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into data warehouses. You will also provide business needs across the creation and maintaining of Pentaho reports and dashboards for data visualisation and analysis.


What you need to succeed:

  • Extensive experience in Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), Pentaho Reporting, and Pentaho Analytics.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience with SQL and working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
