Your new company
Our state government client, based in Perth, is seeking a driven Committee Services Officer to join their busy team. Our client is seeking someone to commence as soon as possible through to July 2025. This will be a temporary contract arrangement with the expectation of working a full-time government working week of 37.5 hours.
Your new role
Agenda Preparation: Draft and organise meeting agendas in alignment with board requirements.
Document Management: Upload and manage meeting packs on the Board portal (BoardEffect or Diligent experience preferred).
Meeting Support: Take minutes during meetings, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Action Tracking: Circulate follow-up actions and maintain records for accountability.
Administrative Coordination: Provides general support to board members and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations.
What you'll need to succeed
Managing agendas, meeting packs, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Ensuring accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
Proven ability to capture and document meeting discussions accurately, ensuring clear follow-up actions.
Liaising professionally with board members and stakeholders.
Experience with BoardEffect or Diligent (or similar board portals) is helpful.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
