Parking Officer

An ongoing temporary contract for a Parking Officer in Western Sydney.

Your new company

You will be working at a Council based in Sydney’s West. You will be working alongside the council’s full-time council staff as a Hays contractor.

Your new role

Your main job will be to enforce local parking legislation by issuing infringements whilst patrolling on foot or in a vehicle. You will also be educating the general public about parking laws and restrictions. You will also be expected to attend court hearings if required.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have a valid NSW Driving Licence, access to your own vehicle and double vaccination against Covid- 19. Customer Service and Conflict Resolution are a vital part of this role so a good attitude and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

What you'll get in return

You will be paid well above the minimum award rate. The contract is temporary, but you will be working full-time hours. The contract could also be ongoing depending on availability and performance.
